Villa Lais was built in the 18th century for the De Carolis family.

In 1872, became the property of the family Lais, which made significant changes to the entire property.

Since 1954, Villa Lais is the property of the municipality of Rome.

In 2002/2004 it carried out important restoration work, after which the chapel with frescoes on the walls turned into a cozy wedding hall. It is good for a quite and intimate wedding in Rome.
