Verona is located in Veneto region, the northern Italy. The Municipality offers for civil wedding in Verona many romantic places, such as:

  • Juliet`s house, where the heroine of Shakespeare lived
  • Museum Hall Guarenti (Sala Guarienti)
  • Chapel of Notaries (Cappella dei Notai)
  • Tapestry room (Sala Arazzi) of neoclassical palace Barbieri.


The Juliet's House is open for those who wish to preform civil or symbolic wedding ceremony in Verona with romantic harp music in a bright hall, to exchange promises of eternal love on the most famous balcony in the world, to hang nominal lock on the wall in the courtyard, to touch the right hand of the bronze statue of Juliet. Civil wedding ceremonies in the Juliet`s house are performed on Mondays in the first half of the day, on Fridays and Saturdays at 18:00. Other days and time are on request. We are at your complete disposal!  


The Guarienti Hall is the part of former monastery of San Francesco al Corso dating back to the thirteenth century, but largely rebuilt in the seventeenth. Nowadays the museum of frescoes is located there. The crypt jealously guarded by the tomb of Juliet is underground. It is very close to the Guarienti Hall. The Guarienti Hall is one of the options provided by the municipality to the couple wishing to get married in Verona .   


The Notary's Chapel is one of the most prestigious halls of the old Communal Palace of Verona, It is also called the Palace of the Mind. The Chapel is located in the heart of the Palace. Its vaulted ceilings and gothic arches are decorated with the valuable paintings, which create a unique background for civil wedding in Verona.

Civil wedding ceremonies in the Notary's Chapel are performed on Saturday afternoons and on Sunday mornings.


The Tapestry Room (Sala Arazzi) is one of the halls of Palazzo Barbieri located near the famous Verona Arena Amphitheatre. It overlooks Verona’s most important and impressive square, the Piazza Bra.
